Are children welcome at the reception?
Any child listed on your invitation is welcome at our reception! As a disclaimer, receptions are largely adult orientated, in nature, and ours will be no different. All individuals should use their own discretion when deciding whether their child is well suited for this environment.
Are all wedding day events in the same location?
Yes, our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all locat4ed at the Club at Shadow Lakes.
Is parking available at the venue?
Yes! But any guests planning to drink/stay over night are encouraged to utilize the shuttle service and park at one of the hotels where the room blocks are reserved.
Is everyone welcome at the after party?
Yes! All guests are encouraged to join us at the Hilton Garden Inn after the reception closes for the wedding after party!
Will the ceremony be outdoors?
Yes, the ceremony will be out doors if at all possible. If extreme weather dictates a change this can and will be accommodated, but outdoor will be maintained if at all possible.
What is the dress code?
Guests are encouraged adhere to a range of cocktail to formal attire. Ex— We suggest that men wear a suit or dress bottoms with a dress shirt and women wear a midi- or knee-length dress or dressy separates.. gals- no white :)
Do I have a plus one?
Guests will be named specifically on your invitation or listed as “guest” if indicated an optional plus one that the invited guest may name while rsvp’ing. If you feel your s/o was missed or would like to ask about a plus one please reach out to the bride directly. No problem. Mistakes do happen, no harm in checking♥️
What type of food will be served?
Light snacks will be served at cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner , please make meal choices on the provided RSVP. If any guest has specific allergy concerns they feel notate on you rsvp, and please reach out to the bride directly to discuss possible accommodations.♥️
Will there be an open bar?
You know it! Please consider possibly bringing some cash to tip your wonderful bartenders if it is within your means, (as the bride and groom will be) for all their hard work.♥️
When should we arrive for the ceremony?
Please do your absolute best to arrive at the ceremony and be seated by 4:30pm. The intention is for the ceremony to start on time, move swiftly and efficiently, and on to the party. Your punctuality will help us reach this goal😉
When will the reception start?
The reception and entrances will begin at 5:30. Any guests who are planning an arrival based on the reception should coordinate for this time. :)
Can I take photos at the wedding?
Yes please! Use the QR code to add all images taken to our onlien album. We want to see the day through the eyes of the people we love most. *DISCLAIMER— please be mindful of the photographers’ shots and angles. We would like these to be devoid of devices (during our very special moments) try to be mindful of your surroundings and when to step back and let the professionals work. Thank you! ♥️♥️
